BCRC

Biology Computer Resource Center

Samar Parikh in the BCRCThe BCRC is a Macintosh Computing Facility in the Department of Biology located in Morrill Science Center (map), at the University of Massachusetts. If you have questions, please send email to bcrc-help@bio.umass.edu or call 545-3631.

Pictured right: Samar Parikh, one of the fierce, but helpful, student consultants in the BCRC.

During the academic year, the BCRC is staffed by student consultants Monday through Friday from 9am - 9pm. Summer and intersession hours are unofficial, but the facility is usually open anyway. The Director collaborates with faculty and students to develop resources and course websites. Don't hesitate to contact us if you're looking for technical support in using instructional technology!

During the summer, the BCRC will be open when the Director is here. He will be away for a number of weeks during the summer: June 5 - 22, July 10 - 18, July 19 - 27, and 2 - 14. If you need access to the BCRC during these times, graduate students and faculty can request the door combination by sending email from a University address.
